A proven Royal Hakvoort explorer with genuine long-range character and an owner’s eye for practical cruising.
Amica Mea is a 46.33-metre (152′) Royal Hakvoort, delivered in 2004 to a design by Vripack with interior and exterior styling by Glade Johnson Design. Her full-displacement steel hull measures 499 GT and carries a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at a comfortable 12-knot cruise (14 knots top), steadied by Naiad zero-speed stabilizers.
She has benefited from a substantial technical programme completed between 2023 and 2025, including a gearbox rebuild, two new watermakers, replacement of through-hull valves, generator overhauls, new bridge monitors and radar, and new carpeting throughout, and completed her 20-year Lloyd’s survey in 2024.
Accommodating 11 guests across five staterooms with a crew of nine, Amica Mea is a turnkey, ocean-capable explorer presented in excellent condition.

The shipyard

Founded in 1919 by Albert Hakvoort Sr. on an IJsselmeer boatyard in Monnickendam, Royal Hakvoort is a family-owned Dutch builder still run by the Hakvoort family. The yard progressed from wooden fishing craft to steel construction after the Second World War and, since delivering its first large motor yacht in the 1980s, has concentrated on full- and semi-custom motor yachts in steel and aluminium of up to roughly 63 metres, with interior joinery crafted in-house at its own Unlimited Interiors atelier. Its deliveries include the 46.2-metre Amica Mea (2003), with naval architecture by Vripack and exterior and interior design by Glade Johnson. On 13 November 2020 the yard received the Royal designation, the Dutch honour reserved for companies of national significance.
