Emerald is a 50.4-metre (165′) Feadship, built in 1990 and comprehensively rebuilt over sixteen months in 2023 at Balk Shipyard in the Netherlands, a project that included extending her hull from 48 metres to her present length.

The rebuild carried a complete interior strip-out and a new interior by Design Unlimited, arranged around a forward master suite and an adjacent VIP suite on the main deck, with four further guest suites on the lower deck for twelve guests across six cabins in total. Exterior work extended the bridge-deck saloon, cockpit and sundeck, added a new spa bath, fitted new Quantum stabilisers usable at anchor, and renewed navigation, AV, IT and satellite systems including Starlink, alongside a new arch, mast and full repaint.

Emerald was a finalist at the 2024 Boat International World Superyacht Awards. Northrop & Johnson holds the central agency, with Richard Higgins and Matt Palmer as the listing brokers.

The shipyard

Founded in Amsterdam in 1949 by naval architect Henri de Voogt as the First Export Association of Dutch Shipbuilders, Feadship builds fully custom steel-and-aluminium motor superyachts, with naval architecture and engineering handled in-house by De Voogt. It draws on the combined heritage of Royal Van Lent (established 1849) and Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw (1906), both of which hold a Dutch royal charter; Royal Van Lent has belonged to LVMH since 2008. Feadship has delivered more than 500 yachts, among them the 118.8-metre Breakthrough (2025), the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands and the world's first hydrogen fuel-cell superyacht. Enduring examples such as the 38.5-metre Bluemar II (1978) belong to the Feadship Heritage Fleet, the builder's owners' association for classic Feadships over thirty years old.
