A 2024 Sunseeker 100, five-cabin layout.

PURA VIDA offers immediate access to a current-generation Sunseeker 100, a recent model with recognisable British performance design and strong brokerage availability.

The Sunseeker 100 adds useful proof points. Sunseeker states the model accommodates up to twelve guests and five crew, reaches speeds of up to 30 knots, has a range of 1,300 nautical miles at 12 knots and holds CE Category A / Ocean status. The 100 Yacht also won the World Yachts Trophies Best Exterior Design award.

The layout language is movement and light: a vast flybridge, uninterrupted walkaround access to the foredeck, a penthouse-style saloon, floor-to-ceiling glazing, sliding doors and a concealed forward galley with side-deck crew access. For a buyer wanting a recent, high-impact production yacht without waiting for a new-build slot, the proposition is clear.

The shipyard

Sunseeker

Founded in Poole, Dorset in 1969 as Poole Powerboats by Robert Braithwaite, joined early by his younger brother John, who would serve as Product Development Director for over five decades, and renamed Sunseeker International in 1985, this British yard designs and engineers its motor yachts in-house at its Poole facilities, vertically integrating every stage from concept to finish. There, a workforce of around 2,600 builds roughly 150 hand-finished boats a year across a range spanning some 11 to 49 metres. Series and semi-custom models such as the 100 Yacht, the class to which the roughly 30-metre Pura Vida belongs, delivered in 2024 with an interior by Design Unlimited, sit alongside the flagship 49-metre Sunseeker 161, the yard's first metal-hulled superyacht, built in partnership with Icon Yachts on a Van Oossanen fast-displacement hull. Sunseeker's high-performance sporting profile has made it a recurring presence on screen, featuring in four James Bond films from The World Is Not Enough to Quantum of Solace.
