The shipyard

Founded in 2008 as the luxury motor-yacht arm of France's Beneteau Group, Monte Carlo Yachts builds its semi-custom flybridge range at a purpose-built facility in Monfalcone, on the Gulf of Trieste. Every model is drawn by the studio Nuvolari Lenard and assembled from parallel pre-outfitted modules: superstructure, deck and interior built simultaneously, a method the yard credits with reconciling series-production efficiency with genuine semi-custom tailoring. The fleet spans roughly 20 to 32 metres, from the MCY 66 to the 32-metre MCY 105 flagship, which won a World Superyacht Award in 2017. The MCY 86 Venus, built in 2013 and refitted at Monfalcone in 2023, is a characteristic example of the yard's work.
